The house
This terraced townhouse stands on Calle León in the historic centre of La Orotava, a cobbled street of painted façades. Built in 1820 and renovated, it keeps its period floors: patterned hydraulic tiles in black and white, terracotta and green, alongside hardwood.
The house runs over two floors and each can work on its own. Downstairs are a living and dining room, a separate kitchen, and a double bedroom with its own bathroom. A door opens to a private courtyard of about 15 m², planted with ferns, palms and monstera, with timber slat walls and wall lights.
Upstairs are two double bedrooms, a bathroom, and a living area with an open kitchen. A stair leads to the rooftop terrace of about 34 m², with a dining corner, a lounge sofa and planters. From it the view takes in the Atlantic, the old town roofs and the mountain behind. Used as one home it has three bedrooms; the ground-floor living room can become a fourth bedroom, an office or a games room.
The built area is 154 m². The notes list air conditioning, built-in wardrobes and electric heating, with a west orientation. The property is sold direct from the owner's listing, second-hand and in good condition.
