The upmarket end of the south: Playa del Duque, La Caleta and Golf Costa Adeje, with the old town and its ravine up the hill.
Costa Adeje is where the south’s top hotels, beaches and restaurants are. Playa del Duque, Fañabé and the fishing village of La Caleta run along a promenade that continues all the way to Playa de las Américas, with villas and golf inland.
The old town of Adeje sits higher up at the mouth of the Barranco del Infierno, and feels like a different place. Tenerife South airport is a short drive along the motorway.
